Plant potatoes in three steps

Step 1 dig a trench

Step 2 place seed potato pieces 1 foot apart in trench

Step 3 cover your potatoes with 3 inches of soil

In 2 weeks you will need to hill your potatoes to prevent crowning. Harvest 8-10 weeks after planting.
